Paper

Munken Pure
300 g/m²

A heavy, uncoated sheet with a soft, felt-marked surface: it takes ink the way a good book page does, without shine, and lies flat on the wall. At 0.38 mm it is almost four times as thick as copy paper.

Pigment, not dye: lightfast for a century behind glass. The yellow and the blue are mixed to match this site’s own, proofed by eye against the screen until they agree.

Making

By hand

Each print is checked against its proof, trimmed by hand, numbered and signed in pencil in the margin, wrapped in acid-free tissue and rolled into a sturdy tube. Editions are small, and when one is gone, it is gone.
